Seriously though, what did we do before the internet? I for one have spent most of today being entertained by it. In the end, here I am surrendering to the phenomenon that is blogging. New to it, but think it’s a fun place to vent even if no one were to read it.

Anyways, I’ve been surfing today and I found a couple of cool sites that I thought I’d share:

http://www.bookcrossing.com
From the Concise Oxford English Dictionary: BookCrossing – n. the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise.
I fell in love with the concept and will be setting some of my books free this week. I wondered what was to become of my growing collection of short reads. Now someone else can read some Augusten Burroughs.

http://www.geocaching.com
Basically a directory of ‘caches’ throughout the world listed by exact Lat/Long coordinates. Combine a GPS receiver and you’ve got a 21st century treasure hunt.

http://www.wufoo.com
Anyone that’s ever done form editing knows it’s a pain… especially if you have to make small changes, copy a form, etc. Wufoo makes it simple, period. I used it to create my Recipe Submission Form (more on that later).
