After today’s adventures into redirecting folders and making my entire workspace I went to go review a video I had rendered to my desktop. A file that was conveniently located across a G class wireless network connection.

At MPEG-2 quality, it was just too much. I was greated with stutered playback.

So, to have quickly accessible local location on my desktop I added a folder to ‘c:\documents and settings\all users’ called ‘Local Data’.

I plan to use it for large video and other files.

I am now moving an N-only wireless network up on my to-do list.
